Newshome Candles to donate share of
profits to UK hospices and Macmillan Caring Locally is on the list!
• Every website sale until 31 December 2020 will result in a donation
• £2.50 per candle will be donated to chosen hospice
• 50p per wax melt will be donated to chosen hospice
Between now and 31 December 2020, Newshome Candles will be donating £2.50 per candle sale
and 50p per wax melt sale to hospices across the UK.
Each customer is able to choose where the donation from their purchase goes, through the simple
process of adding the name of their chosen hospice in the order notes section during the checkout
process.
The money for each hospice will be totalled, with donations sent to all nominated hospices in
January 2021 — a positive start to a new year.
Hospices are encouraged to take part and therefore increase their donations by printing and
displaying posters and sharing news of the offer through their websites and social media accounts.
Chris Taylor, the founder of Newshome Candles, said:
“In normal times, we’d be attending a variety of markets and fairs in person throughout the year —
most of which make a donation to a local hospice or charity via our stallholder fee. Not only do we miss attending these fairs and meeting our customers face-to-face, we also miss the
feeling of making a difference. It may not have been much but, as the saying goes, every little helps. So, until the end of this year, every single candle and wax melt sale through our website will result
in a donation to a hospice. All customers have to do is state which hospice they would like to donate
in the checkout process. I can’t wait to see how much we raise!”
