Through their love, friendship or compassion, those extraordinary people leave a mark on you that can never be forgotten.

That’s why, Macmillan Caring Locally will be hosting a remembrance event, Light Up the Sky for the second year.

You and your family and friends can take part by purchasing a light in memory of a loved one and dedicating their name, a message and picture on our memorial website.

Join us at Tuckton Tea Gardens on Friday 27th September to remember them with others and shine their light.

A night of lights, music and remembrance begins with two minutes of silent reflection as we illuminate the riverside.

If you donate £10.00* or more, you qualify for a battery-operated Tea Light at our event. * If you have donated £20.00 then you are eligible for two lights, £30.00, 3 lights etc.

You can collect your light on the night at the Macmillan Caring Locally tent. You only need to give us your name when you collect.

The picture and message of the loved one you wish to remember will be available to view on our website shortly after your purchase. Please note we manually accept these. If you have processed this out of business hours, then please check back at the end of the next working day.
